What is the role of the Marketing Project & Brand Manager?

To be successful as a Marketing Project & Brand Manager, you’ll want to  have strong leadership, strategic planning exposure, project management, brand management, and creative thinking. You will develop strategies and execute processes to air-traffic control all marketing projects and help make sure each individual resource is at their potential. You will also ensure all content follows our brand guidlines so our company has a clear voice across all business lines. This role is designed for an individual with an abundance of high-energy (i.e. level 6/5 energy), systemic and structural thinking skills, creative abilities and can problem-solve on the fly. To be successful in this role, the right candidate will have experience managing complex projects across functions and teams.

The role is a blend of Project Management and Brand  Manager responsibilities broken out as indicated below: 

Marketing Project Manager (40% - 50% of your time)

  • Oversee, planning, and allocating resources, monitoring progress,  and keeping stakeholders informed through the project lifecycle throughout the marketing/branding department by utilizing our project management software, Asana 
  • Focus on setting up and standardizing processes involved in the build of global marketing
  • Work with the marketing directors to define and execute their strategic marketing plans and mapping out the tasks needed to implement
  • Monitor progress, make adjustments as needed, keeping stakeholders informed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage the content calendar deadlines and resources
  • Identify areas of bottleneck and problem-solve to optimize internal and external marketing/brand resources to realize maximum output 
  • Help prioritize and create accountability to deadlines for all resources 
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding deadlines, gathering key project information or documentation in partnership with the overseeing director 
  • Assist in the distribution of final creative assets to fulfill media buys as assigned by the director

Marketing Brand Manager (50% - 60% of your time)

  • Direct creative strategies to optimize all channels to drive inbound leads globally 
  • Collaborate with the marketing directors & managers to execute their strategic marketing plans creatively 
  • Hands-on social media, email, digital display, print materials, and websites capabilities, are required for day to day execution and creatively optimized for conversion 
  • Oversee, along with the marketing director and the assigned marketing manager, the creative development process, including copy and design, for all iPEC campaigns and initiatives
  • Foster collaboration among the creative team to bring forth the best ideas while creating accountability to deadlines and deliverables  
  • A key player in the approval process and managing the look/feel of all marketing to ensure brand consistency across all business divisions
  • Manage the refinement of the defined brand guidelines and adherence organizationally 
  • Function within the policies and procedures of iPEC.
  • Accept other responsibilities as assigned.

We are looking for the following education, certification & experience:

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and/or Business 
  • 5+ years of experience with a proven track record
  • Project Management Professional certification or commiserate experience preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • iPEC Certified Professional Coach is preferred
  • ELI- MP Certified is preferred
  • Kaizen experience is a plus 

We are looking for the following technical requirements:

  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications (Google Suite)
  • Proficiency in HubSpot
  • Project Management software experience - bonus points for experience with Asana 
  • Internet speed connection minimum 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload on a stable connection
