Job Title:  HubSpot Developer

Department:  IT

Reports To:  Director of IT

Location:  Remote – US Based Only, Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restruction

FLSA Status:  Salaried (W-2 position)

Hours:  8:30 am to 5 pm EST – Business Hours

Salary Range:  $75,000 to $100,000, depending on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced HubSpot Developer with a strong focus on website development to join our team. As a HubSpot Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining websites on the HubSpot CMS platform. You will collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and content teams to create engaging and user-friendly web experiences that drive business growth.

  

Responsibilities:

·       Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using HubSpot’s APIs and Serverless functions.

·       Utilize HubDB to create dynamic and interactive web pages that are scalable and optimized for performance.

·       Collaborate with marketing teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and develop HubSpot solutions that align with business goals.

·       Implement robust data integrations and migrations within the HubSpot platform to ensure seamless data flow across various marketing technologies.

·       Develop custom modules and templates within HubSpot CMS to enhance website functionality and user experience.

·       Ensure all developments are fully responsive, mobile-optimized, and compliant with the latest web standards.

·       Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize HubSpot applications and integrations to maximize system performance and reliability.

·       Develop custom website solutions on the HubSpot CMS platform, adhering to best practices and industry standards.

·       Collaborate with design and content teams to translate design mockups and content into fully functional web pages.

·       Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal viewing experiences across a wide range of devices.

·       Optimize website performance for speed and SEO, including image optimization, code minification, and other techniques.

·       Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, ensuring timely resolution to maintain website functionality.

·       Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and HubSpot CMS to continuously improve our website capabilities.

·       Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.

 

Required Education and Experience:

 

·       Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in web development, with a significant focus on HubSpot platform development.  Additional applicable experience may substitute degree.    

·       HubSpot Developer Certification is highly preferred.

·       Experience in digital marketing or working closely with marketing teams is a plus.

 

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High proficiency in the following coding languages:
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • HubL
  • Medium proficiency in JavaScript.
  • Medium proficiency in HubDB.
  • High proficiency in HubSpot platform.
  • Ability to create custom Themes, Templates, and Modules within HubSpot CMS.
  • Strong ability to use logic and data to develop sustainable, long-term solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and task management skills.
  • Effective Interpersonal skills are required. 
  • Self-starter who exhibits initiative, drive, and dependability.
  • Propensity for technology, creative thinking, and inbound marketing theory.
  • Experience with any of the following are a plus:
    • HubSpot APIs & Custom Objects.
    • Site architecture & wireframing.
